Privacy Policy for Time Detective

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Time Detective handles information. Time Detective is a local-first iOS app for children and families. Mona Apps aims to minimize personal information collection and does not sell personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Mona Apps does not operate an account system or a developer backend that collects children’s routine, challenge, or timing activity. Time Detective does not require an account, a cloud account, or a child email address.

If a grown-up contacts support, Mona Apps receives the information the grown-up chooses to include in the email so that we can respond. Please do not include sensitive information about a child; the Support page lists helpful, lower-sensitivity details to provide.

3. Data Stored on Device

Time Detective stores app activity locally on the user’s device. Depending on how the app is used, this can include:

• child profiles and profile customisation state;
• routines and routine tasks;
• challenge history and personal duration information;
• Detective Stars and other progress or customisation state.

This locally stored activity is not stored by a Mona Apps developer backend.

4. Purchases

Family Unlock is an optional one-time non-consumable purchase. It uses Apple’s StoreKit and App Store infrastructure. Payment information is handled by Apple and is not received by Mona Apps. Apple’s own terms and privacy practices apply to App Store transactions.

5. Notifications

If enabled by the user, Time Detective may schedule local notifications on the device. Local notifications are processed by the device through iOS. Time Detective does not use a developer notification server for these reminders.

6. Analytics and Tracking

Time Detective does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. The app does not sell personal information.

7. Children’s Privacy

Time Detective is designed for children and families. Mona Apps intentionally minimizes the collection of personal information. No account or child email address is required to use the app.

Children should not be asked to contact Mona Apps. If help is needed, a parent or other grown-up can contact monaapps.support@gmail.com.

8. Data Deletion

Because Time Detective activity data is stored locally, deleting the app can delete the app’s local data from the device, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior. Time Detective does not maintain a server copy of children’s activity for a separate server-deletion request.

9. Changes to This Policy

Mona Apps may update this Privacy Policy when the app or its information practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
